Our club promotes a welcoming and supportive environment for all members. We aim for the club to be a place where people are accepted as they are and for the members to treat each other with respect.
However, we cannot exclude the possibility of conflict and undesirable behaviour within the club. For this case, we would like to give some information to our members about their possibilities when faced with an issue like this.
Confidential Advisors
Of course you are welcome to share and discuss your problem with fellow club members, but we know that it is not always easy to share negative experiences with people who are closer to you and might not have the background to handle the situation. Confidential advisors can be of help in this case. They can offer guidance and a listening ear, should you ever need someone to talk to. There are two possible options to choose from:
NSSR confidantes:
Currently, the NSSR provides 4 confidantes. Their details can be found on the NSSR website, and they can be contacted through email.
Radboud University confidantes:
Radboud University also has confidential advisors. There are 12 of them and they can be contacted separately on this website depending on the specific issues encountered.
Useful information
The Student Life and International Mobility (SLIM) organisation has made available a Social Safety Guide, that contains information on such topics as: the code of conduct, incident reporting procedure and confidential contact persons.
