NSSV Don Quichote was established in 1941 and this makes it one of the oldest student sport clubs in Nijmegen. The club is affiliated with the Royal Dutch Fencing Federation (KNAS) and the Nijmegen Student Sport Council (NSSR). Since the 60’s the club trains in the Radboud Sport Center. The club was named after the main protagonist in the novel The Ingenious Nobleman Sir Quixote of La Mancha, written by Miguel de Cervantes.
